Course Description

Students learn common building layout procedures. Students use builder levels, Theodolites, and EDMS to practice actual procedures used in the construction field. They learn to read and shoot elevations using the latest equipment available, including lasers. Students also gain practical experience laying out and staking building sites. The course stresses understanding surveyor's terms and marking.
