INFO 1003 Introduction to Computer Programming

Course Description

This course provides the beginning programmer with a firm foundation in concepts used in structured and object-oriented computer programming. The course emphasizes the use of mathematical problem solving and logic needed to understand a problem. Students use flowcharts, pseudo code, algorithms, and the programming language to document and demonstrate logic as a solution to a programming problem. Students use Python programming software to implement the logic as a computer program. NOTE: Students must receive a C or better in this course to enroll in a capstone course.
