Course Description

Students are introduced to basic electronic components, digital devices, and basic circuits. This course emphasizes the concepts and principles through hands-on activities. Topics include basic electronic components, proper use of test equipment, basic electronics theory, prototyping methods and an introduction to microcontrollers. Students also learn to read schematic diagrams, build circuit prototypes, test and troubleshoot the prototypes, and construct circuits using a variety of tools and prototyping methods.
