(2) Within two years prior to beginning the course, successful completion of ESLX 0824 and ESLX 0834 both with grades of P; or MCC placement test - must be completed prior to taking this course.

This advanced ESL course provides instruction and practice in the reading and writing of academic English and the development of academic vocabulary and critical thinking skills.
