This course is the first half of an algebra-based college physics sequence. The course is taught as three courses (PHYS 110A, 110B, and 110C), all of which must be successfully completed to transfer as a semester-length course. Topics for this portion of the course include kinetic theory, heat, and thermodynamics. Beginning 14/FA, students registering for this course must also register for PHYS 110CL which is the laboratory component of the course.
