Versatilist Information Technology (VITAS)

Information technology is an integral part of today’s business environment. The Versatilist Information Technology degree allows students to customize their program of study, while at the same time being able to change easily to another focus.  This degree provides a process where students can adapt to the requirements of current and future IT trends.

Students are required to complete 18 credit hours in each of two levels of courses.  Students build their schedule by selecting classes for the two levels of INFO courses listed below after completion of a minimum of six major requirements.  Students are also required to pick one of the INFO capstone courses that best fits the course plan they have designed in this degree.

Students who complete an Associate in Applied Science in Information Technology at MCC have completed the major requirements for Bellevue University.  Students need to take at least 30.0 semester hours at Bellevue and can take additional coursework at MCC toward their Bellevue University degree.
